Do you have a physical store I can visit?

We are a 100% online business, and therefore we do not have any physical shops or storefronts. Our office is located in Annandale, Sydney but we do not have a showroom.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • For customers without a trading account, payment is required at time of order. Payment can be via MasterCard, Visa or direct deposit. Surcharge of 1.5% applies to card payments.
  • We are pleased to offer terms of 30 days from date of invoice to government departments, schools, universities, councils, large companies etc, upon receipt of an official purchase order. Please contact us for further information.
Do prices include GST?

Al prices we quote are exclusive of GST unless otherwise noted. 10% GST for sales within Australia must be added.

Are all of the products on your website in stock?

While we try to maintain stock of some of the more common items, it’s virtually impossible, as there are over 5,000 products in our range. It can take anywhere from a few days to 5-7 weeks for new stock to arrive, as much of it is made to order by our overseas suppliers. What is the warranty on your products?

All of our products come with a standard 12 month or 24 month back-to-base warranty, depending on the product.

Can I return a product if I change my mind?

We do not accept returns simply because you change your mind or decide you don’t want the product. If the product is defective, you are entitled to remedies under Australian Consumer Law and we will work with you to find a solution.

Warranty

Our products are warranted against faults in materials and manufacture for a period of one year (12 months) from the date of original purchase. Any claim under this warranty must be made within this period. If service is required during the warranty period, please contact Hertz Electronics, 02 8205 0575. These repairs will be carried out at no charge to the owner, subject to the conditions specified herein. If we are unable to repair the product, we will replace it at our option. If the identical product is no longer available, we will substitute it for a similar product of equal or greater value.

We do not accept returns simply due to change of mind.

The owner is responsible for any transportation and insurance costs if the product has to be returned for repair. Please ensure the product is safely packaged with adequate protection. We will not be held responsible for any damage caused during transit from you to us. Some damage may result in the product being rendered beyond repair, in which case it will be scrapped. This warranty does not extend to accessories or defects or injuries caused by or resulting from causes not attributable to faulty parts or the manufacture of the product, including but not limited to, defect or injury caused by or resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental damage, improper voltage, liquid spillage, vermin infestation, software, or any alterations made to the product which are not authorised by Hertz Electronics.

Please retain your sales documentation, as this may be required to validate a warranty claim.
